"Flambeaux" Chris Reilly, a native Scotsman, began his career in New Orleans 25 years ago. A legend in his field, Flambeaux is accredited with igniting the 1.5 million strong fire-arts enthusiasts scene in the United States. A world-reknown fire performance artist, creative director, writer and producer, Flambeaux’s work has been sought after by celebrities and culture influencers, for both high-end brand unveilings, arena events, popular TV shows and also for celebrated clubs and ground-breaking shows. He’s also been spotlighted in several featured films including The Pelican Brief, Gothkill and Remedy and his avant-garde style, showmanship and ideas are nonpareil in the entertainment industry.
In 2013 he created ‘The Calling’ with his team in workshop form. Since then it has been developed exponentially and performed for thousands on both the Burning Man and festival circuit. Flambeaux is known as ‘The Father of the Fire Scene’ and remains the hardest working artist in fire show business.

Chashama has earned an exemplary reputation for its theatrical productions dating back to 1995. Over the last 26 years they have produced Fassbinder’s “Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant” (Drama Desk Award nominee for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play and Outstanding Scenic Design of a Play in 2001), Flambeaux’s “The World of the P-Cult’ in 2002 and “The Stronger and Pariah” (featuring Anita Durst and Molly Ward). The organization has also presented Bated Breath Theatre Company’s “VOYEUR: The Windows of Toulouse-Lautrec", The Love Show’s “Behind the Glass”, and “Masquerade” and “Pop-up Opera” with New Camerata Opera.
