The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) has recognized Flambeaux's leadership in the field of live fire entertainment and has given Flambeaux the first E 28 FDNY ‘Open Flame Fire Producer’ license.
Flambeaux Fire, LLC can legally create FDNY supervised fire shows and effects indoors for an audience in correspondence with the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA) Code 160 fire-safety regulations.
FDNY and other city’s fire authorities have licensed Flambeaux Fire shows with full coverage permits to add to the company’s already-existing liability insurance, resulting in the company’s ability to produce shows like The Calling for mainstream theatrical venues in NYC.
The Calling will have Flambeaux Fire’s legal and recognized methods, systems, processes, and personnel in place to facilitate the legalization of the venue as has been the case with ongoing productions at The Box, Webster Hall, Diamond Horseshoe, Sony Hall, and House of Yes.
