In the story of The Calling, Casara, a young woman from Brooklyn, travels in her dreams to a hauntingly beautiful world of flames. There she heals the wounds of the warring tribes of the Fire World, struggling through crisis and cataclysm mirroring our own world. With the guidance of the Fire Shaman Flambeaux, she endures tests and miracles of fire, igniting the idea that everyone has a calling that they are destined to follow, and teaching us that if you follow your calling, you can manifest your future, change the world, and save your soul. 

Creator Flambeaux and his company present a bewitching show that sets the bar for experiential theater and gives birth to the use of fire in theatrical production as a major tool of expression. With 25 years of production and presentation of live fire shows, worldwide to millions live and on screen, ‘Flambeaux Fire LLC’ has garnished an international following. The troupe delivers artistic conceptual and interactive handling of fire effects, and weaves them into stories, acrobatic dances, churchlike ceremonies, and theater.
